Estonia, where press freedom is guaranteed at the legal and political level, ranks fourth out of 180 countries in terms of press freedom, according to Reporters Without Borders (RSF).

Estonia is considered one of the countries where digitalization has been adopted the most at the state and society scale. The New York Times describes Estonia as a "role model" in the field of digitalization, Forbes draws attention to it in terms of its "human-centered digitalization," and Wired describes it as "the world's most digitally advanced society".
