While it is calculated that the digital transformation investments of the global steel industry will push the limit of 6 billion dollars in 2031, the digital transformation project of Çolakoğlu Metalurji, one of the important producers of the sector in Turkey, was completed and went live. It was announced that the project was the most comprehensive transformation project of the year, which was commissioned using smart ERP.

TURKEY - According to the research of ABI Research, which conducts global research in the technology sector, the investment of steel producers in digital transformation will increase with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.9% between 2022 and 2031 and reach $5.9 billion. While the sector prioritizes efficiency, sustainability and safety in technology investments, Çolakoğlu Metalurji, one of Turkey's leading flat steel producers, announced the completion of its SAP S/4HANA transformation.
 
In the statement made by SAP Gold Partner Çözümevi, it was stated that within the scope of the project, all business processes of Çolakoğlu Metalurji were integrated with internal and external environmental systems. In the study called "S4U Your Project", it was stated that the new generation smart ERP (enterprise resource planning) solution SAP S/4HANA was completed and put into use in a total of 2 years, including preliminary preparations.
