Paribu was among the partners of Web Summit Qatar 2025, which took place in Doha, Qatar, from February 23-26. The summit brought together participants from around the world in the fields of technology, finance, and digital innovation.

As Turkey’s leading technology company and cryptocurrency exchange platform, Paribu participated in Web Summit Qatar 2025 with the slogan “Exchange, Custody and Beyond.” As one of the global summit’s partners, Paribu engaged with participants from all over the world. The event, held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from February 23-26, 2025, connected entrepreneurs, investors, and technology leaders.

The Future of Digital Finance Was Discussed

Key topics at Web Summit Qatar 2025 included digital transformation in financial services, cryptocurrencies, and data analytics. The event also featured sessions focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Paribu Founder and CEO Yasin Oral Spoke at the Panel “Is Paper Money Becoming Extinct?”

Paribu Founder and CEO Yasin Oral participated as a speaker in the panel titled “Is Paper Money Becoming Extinct?” The panel covered the rise of cryptocurrencies and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), the decline of cash usage, and the transition to a digital economy. Yasin Oral was joined by Mirko Giacco (CEO, Ooredoo Fintech), Camelia Ganga (CGO, Moniepoint), and moderator Dr. Hamoud Almahmoud (Editor-in-Chief, Majarra).

Paribu Introduced Its Digital Asset Custody Services

Throughout Web Summit Qatar 2025, visitors to the Paribu booth had the opportunity to learn more about digital asset custody services and security solutions. Paribu introduced its Paribu Custody service for institutions and Paribu Self for individual users while also presenting ColdShield® technology, developed by the Paribu Custody team.

Another experience Paribu offered to participants was ArtGen, an AI-powered digital art platform. Thanks to Paribu Self integration, attendees had the chance to create their own unique NFTs using ArtGen. Over 400 NFTs were generated by visitors to the Paribu booth during the event.
