Within the scope of TURQUALITY, which will last for 4 years, our goal is to enter the top 3 in Europe and the top 5 in the world.’
Orhan Kahveci pointed out that TURQUALITY only supports promising organisations that meet international standards and said: ‘As Teknopanel, with our new investment, we have important European and Balkan countries such as Macedonia, Germany, France and Serbia on our radar. We will continue to increase our investments in these strategically important markets as a priority.’ and continued his words as follows:
‘Today, we export our sandwich panel and EPS products to 106 countries in 6 continents. Within the scope of TURQUALITY, where we have determined our target markets, we will further intensify our activities in America and Africa as well as Europe. Our target is to double our export turnover over 80 million USD within 4 years. In addition, we will ensure that the share of exports in our turnover, which is 27%, reaches 50%.‘’
‘As Teknopanel, we realised our first export to Georgia two years after we were established in 2005. Today, we export the products we produce in our domestic production facilities in Mersin, Sakarya, Izmir and Istanbul to 106 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North and South America. With our first overseas production facility, which will soon start operations in Skopje, North Macedonia, we will develop our market in Balkan and European countries and grow especially in the Western European market by utilising our logistics advantage. Our goals include dominating the whole of Africa, where we operate, and making our presence felt in the American market.’ Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci said, ’We protect not only buildings, but also the people living in them, employees, wealth, capital, sweat, dreams, values, excitement, labour and ideas. As we work with this in mind, we proudly carry the flag of leadership in our sector. We represent our country in the best way wherever we reach. We are very excited to enter our 20th year with the power of TURQUALITY behind us.’
Orhan Kahveci said that they have identified Asia, Europe, Africa and America continents as target markets in order to be among the leading brands in the global market within the framework of the strategic business plan they have created within the scope of TURQUALITY Brand Support Programme and added, ‘In this context, we will participate in the most important fairs of the construction materials industry. We will reach industry professionals through physical events and digital marketing activities. We will expand our dealer network through strategic collaborations and increase the accessibility of our products by creating new sales points. Our goal is to be among the first brands that come to mind in qualified projects.’
Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci emphasised that they produce roof, facade, cold room and acoustic sandwich panels to meet the needs of the market, products in polyurethane, polyisocyanurate and mineral wool insulation types, and that they develop new products in the R&D centre when necessary, and said, ‘Sandwich roof panels with membrane surface and cold room panels are among our most preferred products in the export market. We are aware of our social and ecological responsibility for the continuity of production, product diversity and consumption for sustainable life and we prioritise green transformation projects with this awareness. With our new R&D investments, we are adding innovative products that will provide more energy efficiency and savings to our portfolio. We are currently reducing our carbon footprint with the measures and improvements we have taken in our production processes. We increased our installed capacity to 3.6 megawatts by completing the SPP projects we installed on the roofs of our Mersin, Sakarya and İzmir production facilities.
We will soon realise the same application at our plant in North Macedonia. Here, we will produce photovoltaic compatible solar sandwich roof panels designed for roofs that generate their own energy and EPS thermal insulation boards that are 100% recyclable. We aim to increase exports by utilising the logistic advantage we have.’
‘Following our production facilities in Mersin, Sakarya, Izmir and Istanbul, we are counting the days for the opening of our new facility in North Macedonia on an area of 55 thousand square metres. With this factory, we will increase our sandwich panel production to 16.5 million square metres and our EPS production to 1.950 million cubic metres.’ Orhan Kahveci concluded his words as follows:
‘With the production facility in North Macedonia, we have analysed the needs in the target markets well and made important determinations. We have added the high-rolled sandwich roof panel, which we have newly developed in our R&D centre, and facade panels in different models sought in architectural projects to our product group. We will continue to produce innovative solutions for projects with innovative products that support sustainable life at international standards.’
