Founded in 1992 as Turkey's first porcelain factory and today operating in 60 countries with nearly 300 sales points, Seranit opened its new showroom in Baku, Atatürk Prospect on Thursday, 6 June. Among the participants of the opening ceremony were Mr. Ahmet Erdal, Chief Commercial Counsellors. Ahmet Erdal, Mr. Yakup Sefer, Mr. Murat Yaman, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen's Association (ATIB) Mr. Tahsin Gündem, President of MÜSİAD. Mr Tahsin Gündem, President of MUSIAD Mr. Reşat Çınarlı, Seranit Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Mr. Avni Çelik, Seranit Board Member Mr. Fatih Kıvanç and Mr. Mahmut Sefa Çelik, Board Member and General Manager of Kızılbük REIT. Mahmut Sefa Çelik took part.

Seranit Difference: Modern design and wide product range

Built on a 1,600 square metre area, this new showroom showcases Seranit's latest ceramic, bathroom and kitchen products. The showroom showcases a wide range of products including ceramic tiles, bathroom furniture, sanitary ware, fittings and kitchen cabinets.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Seranit Chairman of the Board of Directors Avni Çelik said, "This new showroom we opened in Baku is an important step that reinforces the global vision of our brand. As Seranit, we continue our global growth targets without slowing down with our products representing quality and innovation. We believe that such investments will make a great contribution to our brand and our country. Our goal is to reinforce our leading position in the sector as a global brand." Stating that localisation is another prominent strategy of Seranit in the global market, Avni Çelik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Seranit, said: "We analyse the needs and expectations of local markets correctly and develop products specific to these markets. This approach makes us an internationally preferred brand."

Fatih Kıvanç, Member of the Board of Directors of Seranit, said: "Since 1992, we have been a leader in the sector with our innovative and environmentally friendly production approach. Our new showroom is a strategic step in order to respond to customer demands in the region faster and more effectively, Baku Showroom will be an important centre for our customers in and around Azerbaijan. While our new showroom offers the opportunity to exhibit our latest ceramic, bathroom and kitchen products, it will also serve as a platform that supports our R&D and innovation activities."

Stating that they are in the public offering application process, Fatih Kıvanç, Member of the Board of Directors of Seranit: "We aim to reinforce our pioneering position in the sector by furthering our growth targets. Within the scope of our overseas growth strategies, we have identified countries such as Germany, France, the United States of America, Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates as priority target markets. Our public offering plan will be an important milestone in Seranit's sustainable growth journey and will provide us with the opportunity to expand into new markets, increase our production capacity and accelerate technological innovations. In 2024, our stores to be opened in Baku and Frankfurt will be part of our regional leadership strategy."

While Seranit continues its business with 75 dealers in 2023, it aims to increase the number of dealers to 85 by the end of 2024 and increase the number of warehouses abroad. These expansion plans will be supported by the resources the company will obtain during the public offering process. The IPO is expected to strengthen the company's financial structure and enable it to assume a more effective role in the global market.  The company plans to increase its effectiveness in these markets through activities such as localisation and participation in global organisations. Seranit's growth strategy in the export channel has been determined as priority target markets in countries such as Germany, France, the United States, Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates. The new stores to be opened in Baku, Azerbaijan and Frankfurt, Germany in 2024 will play a critical role in the realisation of this strategy.
