Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, Cement Industry Employers' Association (ÇEİS) brought the book titled "Cement of the Republic - Building a Country" written by Journalist Volkan ÖZSOY together with the readers.

TURKEY - Cement Industry Employers' Association (ÇEİS) has worked with the power it has received from its members since the day it was founded and has become one of the leading employer unions of our country. In addition to protecting the rights and interests of its members in industrial relations, which is its founding mission, ÇEİS strives to support and contribute to its members in many areas such as human resources, occupational health and safety, training, professional competence and social responsibility.

Adil Sani Konukoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ÇEİS, said: "As ÇEİS leaves 60 years behind, we have planned activities that will create value for the sector in this special year. One of these activities is the work "Cement of the Republic - A Country is Being Built", which we believe will make a significant contribution to the written heritage of the sector and inspire future generations of the sector. We are proud and happy to present this valuable work, prepared on the occasion of both the 100th anniversary of our Republic and the 60th anniversary of ÇEİS, to the readers."

The work, which tells the story of the construction of a country after the War of Independence and the journey of cement from the story of trying to establish the first state factories in the history of the Republic to the present day, enlightens our history. It is once again understood how important a material cement is in the development of our country and society with the Republican period.
