Koç Group’s corporate procurement and supply chain management company, KoçZer, announced organizational changes. Sanem Bayraklı, who has been leading human resources management at the company for over five years, has taken over as the head of the newly established Marketing and Corporate Communications Directorate. The new Director of Human Resources is Füsun Çelik, who has managed human resources in various Koç Group companies for 17 years.

Effective from April 1, 2024, KoçZer, which was founded within the Koç Group in 2003, announced these organizational changes and appointments. The company, which boasts a workforce that is 51% female and 40% female managers, has made two new female executive appointments.

Recently, the company transformed its brand identity from Zer to KoçZer and announced the establishment of the Marketing and Corporate Communications Directorate to consolidate all brand management, marketing, and external communication activities under one roof, with Sanem Bayraklı set to lead. Human Resources has also become a separate directorate, with Füsun Çelik, formerly Human Resources Manager at Arçelik-LG, appointed as the Director of Human Resources at KoçZer.

Sanem Bayraklı, appointed to the Marketing and Corporate Communications Directorate, emphasized that KoçZer needs to strengthen its marketing and communication investments to better communicate its expertise in procurement and supply chain management and to reach more business partners. "Our priority will be to support the customer journey with marketing activities to build loyalty," she said.

Füsun Çelik, who has taken on the role of Director of Human Resources, emphasized the cultural transformation at KoçZer, stating, "Throughout my roles within the Koç Group, I had the opportunity to closely observe the development of KoçZer. Our direction will be to establish an organization where open communication and customer-centricity are the core values."

Who is Sanem Bayraklı?

Sanem Bayraklı, who has served as Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications at KoçZer since 2020, joined the organization in 2010 as Logistics Procurement Manager. She completed her undergraduate education in Business Administration at Uludağ University and Rutgers University, and earned her MBA from Koç University. In 2021, she received a postgraduate diploma in "Digital Business" from the joint program of Columbia Business School Executive Education and MIT Sloan. Bayraklı will continue her role as the Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications from April 1, 2024.

Who is Füsun Çelik?

Füsun Çelik, who has taken over as the Director of Human Resources at KoçZer, began her career in 2004 as a Business Establishment and Development Consultant at the Entrepreneurship Education and Consulting Center. From 2007 to 2014, she held roles in Organizational Development at Tofaş Turkish Automobile Factory. In 2014, she joined Koç Holding as a Performance and Compensation Management Specialist and Organizational Development Manager, later working as the Group Manager for Talent, Leadership Development, and Employer Brand at Tüpraş. In September 2021, she was appointed as Human Resources Manager at Arçelik-LG Air Conditioning, leading Human Resources, Industrial Relations, and Health, Safety, and Environment processes.
