Gate Group Obtains VASP License in Italy

TURKEY - Gate Group's Maltese arm, Gate.MT, through its Italian subsidiary Gate Technology Italia SRL, has announced the acquisition of a VASP (Virtual Asset Service Provider) license. With this license, Gate.MT will now be able to offer a variety of services to Italian customers through its local subsidiary, including cryptocurrency exchange and conversion, transfers, swap services, and digital wallet services.

The full details of the license can be accessed in the Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM) records under the registration number PSV150.

Malta: Class 4 Virtual Financial Asset Service Provider license for cryptocurrency exchange, On-ramp and off-ramp, and custody services.
Lithuania: VASP license allowing the provision of services as a digital currency exchange operator and custodian.
Dubai DMCC: License for proprietary trading services related to cryptocurrencies.
Italy: VASP license for providing cryptocurrency exchange and wallet services.
The Bahamas: SCB approval to enter the digital asset business, transition from digital asset to fiat currency, offer one or more digital asset exchanges, and provide digital asset transfer services.
Australia: AUSTRAC license as a VASP.
