Positioning Turkey as Azerbaijan's second-largest trading partner in e-commerce, FTIHUB hosted a forum in Baku, bringing together stakeholders from the ecosystem. The event, attended by prominent business people and senior government officials, addressed a wide range of topics from personalization in e-commerce to cybersecurity, payment systems, and infrastructure solutions.

TURKEY - Positioned as the 19th global market in e-commerce, Turkish companies are not only active on the international stage but are also revitalizing the ecosystem through various events with different countries. Most recently, the Fintech Innovation Hub (FTIHUB) held the "Azerbaijan & Turkey E-Commerce Forum 2024" in Azerbaijan, where Turkey conducted 7.65 billion dollars in e-commerce in 2023, to bring together stakeholders from the e-commerce sectors of the two countries. Sponsored by Ticimax, TRPOS, Omreon, Starex, Fely, and Money Industries, the event took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Baku, featuring panels on various topics ranging from personalization in e-commerce to cybersecurity, payment systems, and infrastructure solutions. The forum saw 29 speakers, including representatives from the Azerbaijan E-commerce Association and the E-Commerce Infrastructure Providers Association, as well as senior company executives, take the stage.

"Our goal is to create a network for new collaborations between the two countries"

FTIHUB Founder Kutay Yalınkılınç made the following statement about the forum: "Our aim in organizing this event is to bring together players in the Turkey and Azerbaijan e-commerce ecosystem for knowledge sharing. Furthermore, to create a strong collaboration network with innovative ideas and solutions, and to explore opportunities that will shape the future of the e-commerce world. To ensure that all our participants make efficient use of their time, we hosted important figures from the Azerbaijan state authorities related to commerce and innovation, as well as significant names from the Azerbaijan Turkey Embassy. We will continue to organize events to pave the way for new collaborations between the two countries in the future."

Senior officials participated in the forum
