Nassau, Bahamas, January 18, 2024 — OKX, a leading technology company and cryptocurrency exchange at the forefront of building the future of the Web3 ecosystem, announced today the program for the “Solana Super Season” event. Designer to reward users who engage with the Solana ecosystem, the event consists of three activities and competitions across OKX’s Web3 and CeFi platforms, offering a chance to win a share of the prize pool of up to $150,000. 

The “Solana Super Season” encourages users to interact with the Solana blockchain ecosystem and engage in transactions involving Solana-based tokens and listings. The event includes the following activities and buy-sell competitions:

Solana Futures Trading Season: From January 18th at 07:00 (GMT +3) to January 31, 2024 at 06:59 (GMT+3), users who meet the conditions and engage in buy-sell transactions with any of the following perpetual swap listings on OKX’s centralized exchange will have the opportunity to share a prize pool of 100,000 USDT: SOL/USDT, PYTH/USDT, BONK/USDT, and JTO/USDT. The winners will be determined by ranking the top 50 users with the highest Profit and Loss (P&L) ratio. 

Additionally, new users registering with OKX and participating in the competition before the start date will receive a 10% boost in their P&L ratio on the leaderboard. Among users who meet the conditions, the first 3,500 users who engage in buy-sell transactions with at least 25,000 USDT worth of SOL/USDT,  PYTH, USDT, BONK/USDT, or JTO/USDT on OKX’s futures market will also receive 350,000 BONNK tokens. 

Solana Ecosystem Marinade Reward Event: From January 2 to April 1, 2024, users who stake SOL in the Marinade Finance liquidity pool in Web3 DeFi will receive a high APR of up to 2% in addition to the base APR for the assets they have staked. Web3 DeFi users also earn extra rewards by staking mSOL in the “SOL-mSOL’ liquidity pool of Orca V3. 

Web3 DeFi is a powerful DeFi platform that supports earning and staking across approximately 70 protocols on more than 10 blockchains. 

Cryptopedia Solana Season: As of January 10th, users who interact with MarginFi, Jupiter, Meteor, and Kamino Finance, the DApps in the Solana ecosystem, through Cryptopedia on the OKX Wallet will have the opportunity to receive Solana-based airdrop rewards. 

Cryptopedia is a crypto education platform that offers a learning and earning experience, allowing users to learn about various DApps on different blockchains while also allowing them to earn rewards.

Details of the additional promotions and buy-sell competitions that OKX will introduce as part of the “Solana Super Season” event in the coming weeks will be announced soon.

This announcement follows OKX’s first “Learn and Earn” event in the OKX app on December 22nd. The event allowed users to share from a reward pool containing 527 SOL. It marked the beginning of the first “Learn and Earn” experience in the centralized exchange section of the OKX app. OKX is also one of the first exchange applications accessible on the Solana Web3 smartphone.
