Voltify allowed managers from the business world to experience 30 new-generation electric vehicles at the event held in cooperation with Filo Broker. Voltify Founder and CEO Mehmet Yiğit pointed out that electric vehicle sales in Turkey increased by 873 per cent in the 11 months of 2023 compared to the same period of 2022.

TURKEY - At the event organized by the electric vehicle rental platform Voltify in cooperation with Filo Broker, managers from various companies experienced 30 new generation electric vehicles. At the event, which attracted great interest from the business world, managers had the opportunity to experience the newest generation of electric vehicles currently on sale in Turkey. Kia Türkiye; Renault & Dacia Türkiye representative Mais Motor Vehicles; In the event, which was held for the first time in Turkey with the sponsorship of MG, Maxus and Wallbox Turkey representative Doğan Trend Automotive companies and with the contributions of E-Garaj, managers went on an experience driving on the Riva road with 30 different electric vehicles, especially Kia, Renault and MG vehicles.

“Electric vehicle sales increased by 873 per cent”

Speaking at the event, Voltify Founder and CEO Mehment Yiğit pointed out that electric vehicle sales in Turkey increased by 873 per cent in the 11 months of 2023 compared to the same period of 2022 and emphasised that companies should accelerate the transition to electric vehicles. 

Mehmet  Yiğit, who expressed that they have faced a high demand from individuals and institutions curious about the electric vehicle experience, stated that they have almost all-electric vehicle models available in Turkey in their inventory. He said, "The companies participating in the event have approximately 20,000 vehicles in their fleets. These 20,000 vehicles cause 110,000 tons of carbon emissions per year. Therefore, accelerating the transition to electric vehicles will also contribute positively to our future.

"12 out of every 100 vehicles in 2024 will be electric”

Voltify CEO Mehmet Yiğit said, "In 2024, we expect that 12 out of every 100 vehicles sold in our country will be electric. The electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Turkey is also rapidly developing. Today, more than 140 companies have obtained charging infrastructure licenses. Approximately 10,000 sockets are planned to be installed by the end of the year. According to this, there is one socket for every 5 vehicles on the road in Turkey. It should be emphasized that this ratio is quite good. In comparison, the same ratio in Germany is seen as 1 in 9."

Mehmet  Yiğit, the CEO of the electric vehicle rental platform Voltify, stated that they offer electric vehicle options starting from a monthly rate of 20,000 TL at the entry-level. He said, "For long-term leases, we also provide all services such as insurance, maintenance, and repairs to short-term subscriptions. This allows users to experience the comfort of long-term leasing with the newest cars, even for shorter periods

“The transition to electric vehicles is inevitable”

Fleet Broker Co-Founder Okşan Öztürk, on the other hand, stated that the transition to electric vehicles is inevitable, saying, "We design the transition process to electric vehicles for companies.
