The globally active ceramics and sanitary ware brand exhibits its newest environmentally friendly products. Participating in the International Ceramic Bathroom Kitchen Fair UNICERA 2023, which will last until November 10, Seramiksan invites its visitors to "promise for a good future”.

TURKEY - According to the first half results of 2023 of the Turkey Export Contribution Index, prepared regularly every year by economists under the leadership of the Turkish Ceramics Federation, the ceramics industry is at the top of the index with the highest contribution rate. While the ceramic industry, which uses domestic resources and stands out in exports, continues to add added value to our economy, the important players of the industry met at the International Ceramic Bathroom Kitchen Fair UNICERA 2023, which started today (November 6) and will last until November 10. Seramiksan, the manufacturer of tiles, sanitary ware and construction chemicals, will exhibit its newest designs inspired by nature and environmentally friendly products for the changing needs of end consumers and architects at the fair to be held at the Istanbul Expo Center. The brand, which offers VOQ bathroom furniture collections as well as tiles, sanitary ware and construction chemicals produced for bathrooms, kitchens and all living spaces, to industry professionals and visitors, introduces its newest collections with the concept of "We Have a Promise".

Seramiksan Director Süreyya Çağlar stated that the concept they developed for the fair is rooted in the responsibility of ensuring a more sustainable world for future generations. He said about the event, “As Seramiksan, we participate in UNICERA every year, where we introduce our latest collections. In addition, we engage in various activities to promote a sustainable future. We will provide a platform for our visitors to ‘pledge for a better future’ throughout the fair.”

Broken ceramic pieces will be used to make pots

Seramiksan integrates its 0% waste and product, 0% wastewater production policy into all its business processes. It organizes a terra cotta pot-making workshop at its stand at the fair, where broken ceramic pieces found in the recycling facility will be used. Under the tutelage of Emine Kuşçul, the founder of Turkey's first-hand printing workshop, it also organizes enjoyable activities for everyone, such as a fabric printing workshop and an environmentally friendly Japanese bonsai art kokodema workshop. In the "Masters Competing" event for installation masters, the masters who install the toilet the fastest win different gifts. The issue of sustainability in design will be discussed at the "Good Future Meetings" on Wednesday, November 8, with the participation of Sinem Özlük Architecture. At the event, architecture students will also participate in technical product training on all nature-friendly architectural solutions, from material selection to implementation of porcelain tiles, wall and floor tiles, construction chemicals, sanitary ware and bathroom furniture.

Special collections for the fair

Local tile and sanitary ware manufacturer Seramiksan exhibits its products that combine different textures, offer visual richness and contain original patterns in the collection it created for UNICERA 2023. While floral motifs that give an artistic look to the space stand out in products that give a handmade feel, products enriched with geometric patterns and relief textures for dynamic and modern interior designs attract attention.

Meanwhile, the Palermo series in the collection, inspired by Iran's world-famous marble Pietra, is presented with a natural colour palette, Star White, created by reinterpreting Calacatta marble, representing purity and cleanliness. While the Lecce series promises to add a peaceful and warm atmosphere to spaces with its natural stone appearance and matte surface, Shell, with its elegant reliefs, creates a feeling of depth with the brush strokes on its surface. Seramiksan's collection was prepared for the fair. With its simplicity and diversity of usage areas, Keops crowns it with large-sized tiles that bring global design trends to surfaces, such as Sagano Line, which combines the texture of wood with decoration trends, and Travertine, which combines the magical aesthetics of travertine with the power of porcelain.

Exhibiting its new sanitary ware products for the first time at the fair

Seramiksan, which added new bowl sink models with geometric forms to its existing sanitary ware collections that strengthen the design perception in bathrooms, is also exhibiting the Hill wall-hung toilet with Vortex flushing system for the first time at UNICERA 2023. Developed by Seramiksan's R&D and design teams, Vortex changes the toilet experience with its innovative washing technology that washes more powerfully with less water. While it provides more hygiene with its high-performance toilet bowl cleaning, it also makes a difference with its silent flushing feature.
