The new UV Streamer Kit developed for the Circular Flow Cassette Type Indoor Unit model can clean harmful particles in less than 30 minutes. BAF552AA160 High-Efficiency Filter, produced as a solution for Sky Air (FCAG-B) and VRV indoor unit (FXFQ-B, FXFA-A) circular flow cassette type indoor units, is also used in the ambient air by trapping harmful substances in the air thanks to its ePM10 65% filter. It keeps it clean.
TURKEY - Our homes where we take shelter from the cold weather outside, the classrooms where our children receive education all day long, our offices where we spend long hours in our daily lives, the stores we visit on the weekends... As we enter the winter season, the time we spend indoors is getting longer and longer, and how clean the indoor air is starting to affect our health more. Research shows that we spend 90 per cent of our time indoors, where pollution can be twice as high as outside and, in some places, even five times higher. Due to the cold weather, outdoor air cannot be used continuously for fresh air circulation, pushing consumers to find a solution in the indoor environment. The first of these solutions is the new UV Streamer Kit developed for the Circular Flow Cassette Type Indoor Unit model. Daikin's UV Streamer Kit offers three technologies together and can capture and neutralize harmful particles, unlike traditional filters that only capture larger particles. The ample airflow and unique 360˚ airflow pattern enable the unit to reach every room corner, efficiently supplying fresh air to all areas and providing an ideal tool for sanitizing the indoor environment. UV Streamer Kit combines three powerful technologies to remove harmful particles in less than 30 minutes.
First, the ISO ePM1 60% filter captures harmful particles in the air (Particulate Matters (PM1.0) down to 1.0μm). Advanced, high-output UV-C LED light then eliminates these harmful particles on the filter surface. At the same time, Daikin's Streamer technology deeply sterilizes the inside of the filter to remove harmful particles.
UV Streamer Kit, which can be purchased as an optional accessory option for Daikin VRV and SkyAir Circular Flow Cassette Type Indoor Unit products, also provides a clean interior as it can be adapted to the current model (FCAG-B, FXFQ-B and FXFA-A). It allows easy access to indoor air. Circular Flow Cassette Type Indoor Unit: It is widely used in offices, schools, fitness centres and stores, pharmacies, doctor and dentist offices and similar businesses.
Another product developed by Daikin to improve indoor air quality is the BAF552AA160 High-Efficiency Filter. Daikin produced this product to be used in Sky Air (FCAG-B) and VRV indoor unit (FXFQ-B, FXFA-A) circular flow cassette-type indoor units, which were created to integrate air purification techniques into HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) systems.
BAF552AA160 High-Efficiency Filter, which can be used in applications such as schools, hospitals, restaurants, hotels and residences, is an accessory with ePM10 65% filter class. When the Sky Air or VRV indoor unit operates in heating or cooling mode, the air circulation in the room is passed through this highly efficient filter. As a result, harmful substances in the air are trapped in the filter. (*Can only be used with BYCQ140E, BYCQ140EW, BYCQ140EB decoration panels.) After 10 passes, 97 per cent of 1.0 – 3.0 μm particles and 99 per cent of 3.0 – 10 μm particles are captured. This value is extremely important as a simulated value based on measured data with single-pass performance in an environment where particles are not constantly formed.
For the filter, which can be easily installed without additional parts, it is sufficient to remove the suction grille on the decorative panel and install the high-efficiency pre-filter. To ensure high performance, it is recommended to replace the high-efficiency pre-filter only once a year. Daikin high-efficiency pre-filter recommends 2,500 hours of use. However, the filter's lifespan may vary depending on the presence of smoke, pets or high-traffic areas. In such dense environments, filters must be changed more frequently to provide the proper air and breathing.
UV Streamer Kit and BAF552AA160 High-Efficiency Filter, developed by Daikin to provide its users with quality indoor air, are sold through the Daikin dealer channel.

The VRV Production Facility became operational in 2022 and is the second largest VRV manufacturer in Europe among Daikin global production facilities producing in this field after Belgium. At the VRV outdoor unit production facility, an investment was made in an environmentally friendly and state-of-the-art paint facility that reuses waste flue gases for heating. Maximum traceability is achieved using MES (production management system). 4m model module conveyors designed by Daikin Japan Production Engineering were used in the production line.
