TURKEY - The 100th anniversary of our Republic was celebrated with enthusiastic events on land, in the air and at sea by both public institutions and private sector stakeholders. The celebrations, which were not limited to physical environments, also moved to digital with the contributions of a Turkey-based blockchain media organization and a US-based financial institution. The work carried out using blockchain technology is also very important in terms of spreading the 100th anniversary celebrations to all areas.

A new one has been added to the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Republic, which are being held with great enthusiasm in every field. Uzmancoin, a blockchain media organization based in Turkey, and Swan, a US-based Bitcoin financial services company, worked together to engrave Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's famous quote "Peace at home, peace in the world" on the Bitcoin blockchain. This meaningful work was highly appreciated especially by those who closely follow blockchain technology.

Although many people think that the use of blockchain technology is limited to commercial activities, this information is not true. The celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, which was recently held digitally, is also very important in terms of showing what can be done with blockchain technology. This technology, which is preferred to protect forever and transfer a digital document to future generations, made a big impact with a work done for the 100th anniversary of our Republic. With the work carried out in cooperation with Uzmancoin and Swan, the following message was placed in English and Turkish with the signature of "UC & Swan" on the block numbered 814,398 issued at 19.15 on October 29th: "Peace at Home, Peace in the World - Atatürk Happy 100th Anniversary!" and "Peace at Home, Peace in the World - Atatürk Happy 100th Anniversary!"

Providing information about the work done, Uzmancoin Co-Founder and KRPT Managing Partner Ceylan Arslan said, "The 100th anniversary of our Republic is an important milestone not only for us but for the whole world. As we celebrate our 100th anniversary with enthusiasm, we wanted to remind once again the words of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk that are engraved in our memories at a time when the whole world needs peace the most. Ceylan Arslan said, "Messages written on the Bitcoin blockchain can be stored in a way that is almost impossible to hack. One of the things that makes this technology so popular is its security feature. This feature allows people around the world to digitally record important historical events and moments with this technology. Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of Bitcoin, also left a message in the first block, referring to the difficult days of the 2008-2009 global economic crisis. This shows that Bitcoin is more than just a digital currency," he concluded.
