Turkish and Azerbaijani healthcare sector stakeholders gathered at the summit hosted by Incir Health and Bayındır Health Group’s Oncology and Haematology Center in Azerbaijan on 24 September. While physicians shared their knowledge and experiences through presentations, healthcare institutions held one-on-one meetings to sign new collaborations.
The institutions in Turkey, located at the center of the health sector globally, are carrying Turkey’s success to the international arena through the events they organise abroad. Most recently, Incur Health and Bayındır Health Group, in collaboration with the Oncology and Haematology Center, held an Oncology and Haematology Congress in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on September 24th. While doctors shared their expertise through presentations at the event at JW Marriott Baku Hotel, institutions and visitors also conducted one-on-one meetings to establish new business relationships.
Incir Health CEO Dr Fedakar Günseli stated, “Together with Bayındır Health Group, we built a bridge between Azerbaijan’s leading surgeons and health institutions and their stakeholders in Turkey. We brought together nearly a thousand physicians, hospitals, clinics, insurance companies and travel agencies from both Turkey and Azerbaijan under one roof. While our physicians participating in our event demonstrated their expertise with their presentations, our local institutions had the opportunity to create networks that will open the door to new agreements.”
Bayındır Health Group Deputy General Manager Cem Talas said, “Turkey is increasing its daily momentum in the health sector. We organised a congress with Incur Health in Baku to increase our share in this cake and to open the door to new partnerships in the health sector. We hosted valuable names from the medical world, such as Azad Karimli and Chief Physicians, to make them known abroad; we created a dynamic environment for establishing new partnerships. We proudly represent Turkey globally, especially in our sister country Azerbaijan.”
Successful doctors from Turkey, such as Dr, Ece Esin, Dr. Atilla Akbay, Prof. Dr. Ali Uğur Ural, Prof. Dr. Okan Akhan, and Assoc. Dr. Ebru Hatice Ayvazoğlu Soy participated in the Oncology and Haematology Congress. Presentations were made in general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, oncology, and haematology branches. Three different concepts were implemented for the institutions participating in the organisations, including health tourism promotion stands, B2B seminars, and bilateral business meetings.
