TURKEY — According to the data announced by the International Health Services (USHAŞ), 1.2 million people came to Turkey in 2022 to receive treatment services to solve their health problems, while this number reached 800,000 in the first half of 2023. While various health institutions reveal the potential of our country in the sector, they also carry their success abroad. Finally, İncir Health and Bayındır Health Group will bring together the physicians of the two countries at the Oncology and Hematology Congress to be held on September 24 - 25 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, in cooperation with Oncologiya and Hematoligia Center. Republic bureaucrats, officials of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan and representatives of health tourism will also attend.
Stating that the aim of the congress is to convey the impressive potential of Turkey in the health sector and tourism, İncir Health CEO Dr. Fedakar Günsili made the following statement on the subject: “Our country is constantly increasing its momentum of success in the health sector. According to the information obtained from Dr Fedakar Günsili, in addition to demonstrating Turkey's potential in the health sector, the Oncology and Hematology Summit aims to create a new network of commercial relations and the opportunity to establish one-to-one contact between the institutions participating in the organization and the visitors in terms of treatment needs. In addition to health tourism promotion stands, conferences and B2B seminars, three different concepts, namely bilateral business meetings, will be implemented at the congress. He will be able to meet and negotiate with hospitals, clinics, insurance companies and travel agencies interested in health tourism in Azerbaijan.
Physicians participating in the congress led by İncir Health will make presentations in 5 different branches, namely general surgery, obstetrics, oncology and hematology. The seminar was attended by 20 active doctors, including; Associate Dr Ebru Ayvazoglu, Prof. Dr Omer Cobanoglu, Prof. Dr Gokhan Moray, Prof. Dr Ali Uğur Ural, Associate Dr Ece Esin, and Prof. Dr Okan Akhan.
