ISTANBUL (TR) - The company, which implemented the remote working model in 2020 with the pandemic, also stretched its working hours as of November 1, 2022 and implemented the flexible working model in order to provide a better work-life balance to its employees.

With the flexible working model, which means adapting to the innovations of the era and advancing technologies, the concepts of work, workplace and overtime are redefined. More initiative is offered to the employees with remote and flexible working models where sharp boundaries are eliminated.

In the working model, which can be applied by all white-collar employees who can perform their duties in the company with a flexible working model, Mars employees will be able to fill their daily working hours by working between 06:00-24:00 hours. The time interval for joint work and meetings with large participation was determined as 11:00-15:00 hours.

Mars Logistics Human Resources Director Nihal Kansu commented, “We quickly implemented the remote working model, which we took in our pre-pandemic strategy plan, with a ready technological infrastructure, together with the pandemic. With the remote working model, our colleagues can act freely to create their own workspace while taking on the tasks they are responsible for. With the flexible working model we put into practice this month, our colleagues will now be able to decide for themselves where and when they will work. In this way, they will be able to separate their work and private lives and spend time with their loved ones as they wish.”

Kansu stated that the technological infrastructure for remote and flexible working models has been developed together with the IT department and that the studies will continue, and that the reviews and improvements will be made in line with the demands and emerging needs over time. It allows us to catch up with the times.
