ISTANBUL (TR) -  Although female employment in Turkey lags far behind men's, research shows that women are more stable than men in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. According to a research study with nearly 3,000 people in 32 provinces, 3 out of 4 women entrepreneurs stably continue their activities. While the rate of women who say that they continue the initiative they started within the scope of the research is 31%, this rate is 23% for men. Having a self-confident, competitive, dynamic and independent character, women hold great potential for the entrepreneurship ecosystem with these aspects.

Stating that the entrepreneurial and inspiring character of women brings new keys to companies, and their responsible and conciliatory attitudes create a balance element, Leman Aydemir, the Center Recruiter responsible for growth in RE/MAX Turkey, said, “Women, who play an active role in the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, create change in business life with their leadership skills. The way to develop new business areas by activating the unused potential in the increasingly mature system is to support women entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurial ecosystem, complementary to innovation, creativity and management activities, brings women's presence into business life. As a company that has been interested in the real estate sector for 25 years and has been guiding those who want to start their own business with minimum capital and maximum profit, we offer women entrepreneurs a career opportunity focused on expertise.”

Women make up 40% of entrepreneurs

Noting that they have added more than 1,500 entrepreneurs in 6 months since the beginning of the year, Leman Aydemir said, “40% of our new entrepreneurs are women. With our guiding approach towards women entrepreneurs, we help them achieve their goals. We first listen to women who want to be included in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and then determine target-oriented roadmaps. We prepare women entrepreneurs for the field and the industry through RE/MAX's international training and in-office programs. We bring expertise to women entrepreneurs through the activities we get with those who want to become real estate consultants or franchise office owners.”

Women entrepreneurs gain expertise as their own boss

Pointing out that they offer women entrepreneurs the opportunity to develop themselves and gain expertise with the sharing model they adopt, in addition to the training they offer, RE/MAX Center Recruiter Leman Aydemir, responsible for growth in Turkey, said, “Our entrepreneurs continue their activities in interaction with 8,600 offices in 110 countries around the world. Thanks to our sharing model, where we bring our offices worldwide together in a common pool, women entrepreneurs can develop expertise-oriented networks. We continue our activities in Turkey with 260 offices in 37 provinces and more than 4 thousand real estate consultants. All of our consultants can gain the expertise necessary to reach their goal of being their own boss by being included in our global network system from day one.”
