ISTANBUL (TR) - With the widespread use of remote work, many employees have started to run their businesses over their home internet connections. Moving many business processes to cloud platforms brought congestion in internet traffic and difficulties in accessing the internet. In the 2022 edition of the Broadband Index, a comprehensive report on internet connection speeds, it was stated that remote workers face internet connection problems. In the report, which drew attention to the fact that nearly half of the global workforce (48%) had to use the home internet for business processes, it was determined that three out of 4 people wanted their internet connection speed to be improved. Working on internet acceleration and network performance improvement technologies, Tayftech's engineers have developed a technology that can be a solution to this problem all over Turkey.

Tayftech Business Partners Group Manager Selma Kaya shared her evaluations and said, “The widespread use of cloud technologies and the increase in mobile data traffic day by day lead to insufficient data transmission speeds, called bandwidth. Increasing demand for video conferencing applications also supports this situation. Employees in more than 80 countries, including our country, encounter delays and poor connection quality due to wired and wireless network capacity problems. Operating with the motto of 'better, faster internet', the solutions we developed as Tayftech offer a fast, secure, and easy-to-install solution to this problem.”

Two out of 5 people plan to upgrade their internet packages

The Broadband Index 2022 report found that 43% of respondents plan to upgrade their internet services within 12 months to improve their broadband connection quality. Pointing out that remote work has turned into a common and permanent concept, Selma Kaya said, “Considering that the connection speed directly affects business performance, slowdown and congestion problems caused by the inability to meet the bandwidth demand can perform much better in existing bandwidth tariff packages if the right congestion management solutions are used. Our SpeedUpBox product, which we developed as Tayftech, accelerates the Data Transmission Protocol TCP, the backbone of internet traffic, as the most common and reliable data transfer protocol. Our internet accelerator products, which can be used at different scales, support internet-connected business volumes between 1 and 40 Gigabit. In-home use, they can accelerate TCP traffic up to 100 megabits/second.”

“Companies returning to the office suffer from similar problems.”

Tayftech Business Partners Group Manager Selma Kaya, who emphasized that the problem does not only apply to remote workers but that companies that prefer to return to the office have similar issues, concluded her evaluations with the following words: “According to the Employee Workplace Technology Survey conducted in the USA and Europe in 2022, 37% of the employees’ companies complain about their fixed networks, and 30% of them complain about their wireless networks. Considering that digital transformation is gaining momentum in all sectors, access to high-speed internet has become indispensable for everyone. Tayftech SpeedUpBox internet accelerator, launched on March 30 in Istanbul and developed entirely by Turkish engineers, offers an effective and cost-effective solution to internet needs of all sizes, from individual users to SMEs and corporate companies, with its advantages such as high efficiency, continuous high speed and zero internet congestion.  As Tayftech, we are getting ready to take place in the world market with our SpeedUpBox product with the PCT patent that we have registered rights in 158 countries.”
