ISTANBUL (TR) - The decoration sector, which has risen with the increase in the time spent at home with the pandemic, is gaining momentum with the arrival of the summer months. According to the data published by ResearchAndMarkets, the global home decoration market, which was worth $682 billion in 2021, is expected to push 900 billion in 2022. The rise in the market triggers growth in construction products, like many other sectors. While the demand for ceramics that can be used in all interior and exterior spaces, especially bathrooms and kitchens, is increasing in home decoration, domestic ceramic brands are accelerating their efforts to increase their share in the cake.

Saying that they have expanded their distribution networks in Turkey through new sales points, Seramiksan Director Süreyya Çağlar made the following assessment on the subject: “The home decoration market, which had a periodic course in the previous years, now spreads throughout the year. We plan to double our ceramic sanitary ware production capacity to meet the increasing demand. At the same time, we are expanding our sales network. Finally, we opened our new dealers in Erzurum, one of the most important provinces of the Eastern Anatolia Region, with Şahika Group, and in Erzincan with Yiğit Yapı. We will further increase the number of our dealers, which is currently 230, and reach 81 provinces.”

Consumers will be able to access products from the most suitable locations

Stating that they started to operate their dealers in Turkey in locations accessible to everyone, with the principle of unconditional customer satisfaction, Süreyya Çağlar said, “Ceramics is among the fastest-growing industries of our country. We want to increase our share in the growing cake by increasing the number of our dealers, where we offer ceramic sanitary ware, floor and wall tiles, granite, exterior cladding, and construction chemicals. Currently, we provide service with 230 main dealers and around 1,000 sub-dealers in 76 cities of our country. In addition to our dealers opened in Erzurum and Erzincan recently, we are prioritizing big cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Antalya, Mersin, Kayseri and Samsun for the upcoming period.”

Drawing attention to the increasing importance of bathrooms in home decoration, Seramiksan Director Süreyya Çağlar said, “Bathrooms are one of the areas where fatigue is relieved after a busy day. Users look for elements such as hygiene, durability and aesthetics in original designs in this special place where they stay by themselves. They want their bathrooms to reflect their style.
