ISTANBUL (TR) - Mars Logistics Executive Board Members took part as mentors in the newly launched In-house Mentoring Program at Mars Logistics, which has maintained its sustainable growth since its establishment in 1989, and a total of 21 mentees were mentored. Mars Logistics Human Resources Director Nihal Kansu stated that they plan to make the mentoring program a company culture and said, "Our goal is to include more of our teammates in this program over time." Stating that they aimed to create a team to represent each unit while determining the first mentee group, Kansu stated that the mentee selection was made from the career pool. Kansu said, “We selected candidates who have the potential and desire and are suitable for this program from the career pool. As the Human Resources department, we have taken into account the candidates suggested by our managers.”

Kansu said that the mentee group consisted of 21 people in the first place due to the time constraints of the managers to be mentors and in order for the mentors to benefit from their mentors efficiently, adding, “In the program that lasted for 3 months, each mentee had at least 3 meetings with their mentors per month. Each of these interviews lasted at least 1 hour. Apart from these meetings, the mentees were also able to attend the strategy planning meetings held within the company.”

Stating that the mentoring training of the first group is over and the feedback is positive, Kansu stated that they will implement the reverse mentoring program in 2022 and said, “It was important to transfer the corporate culture and experiences that have been formed over the years to our young friends, but keeping up with the times, staying up-to-date and eliminating the generation gap is the key to success. from the keys. For this reason, in 2022, we will implement a reverse mentoring program and reunite our young friends with our managers and ensure that they share their ideas with our managers.”
