ISTANBUL (TR) - 2021 was a year in which record levels were reached in exports for Turkey. According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), exports in the first 10 months increased by 33.9% compared to the same period of the previous year and exceeded 181 billion dollars. Stating that the rapid rise in exports brought new investments, Naklico Co-Founder Alper Par said, “As Naklico, which brings together minivan vehicle owners and companies that want to send products abroad, we continue our shipments without slowing down. Thanks to our office in Budapest, we will increase our service quality by communicating with our customers in Europe faster. We will continue our investments to expand our activities within the EU.”

Micro exports on the rise

The development in e-commerce, which increased its share in exports with the pandemic, brought dynamism to micro export activities. According to the data of the Ministry of Commerce, the size of e-commerce reached 161 billion TL in the first 6 months of the year, with an increase of 75.6% compared to the same period of 2020. In the same period, the number of orders exceeded 1.5 billion with an increase of 94.4%. Companies that want to get a bigger share from the global trade traffic have started to turn to micro-exports. Stating that micro-exports guide the e-export journey of thousands of companies at the scale of SMEs, Alper Par said, “Micro-export creates a significant cost advantage for companies. There was demand in this area but no supply. With the dynamism in e-commerce, the supply-demand balance began to form to a large extent. Micro exports showed a great development with the advantage of the increase in the exchange rate. We, as Naklico, are starting micro-export activities with our team that we have created within our body.”

Express transportation with minivan vehicles

Stating that minivan transportation is the most preferred logistics solution for the shipment of products such as wheels, automobile spare parts, tobacco products and frozen foods that may cause the production line to stop if not delivered quickly, Alper Par said, “The import-export volume between Turkey and Europe continues to grow day by day. . Fast logistics solutions are vital so that the production lines in the factories do not stop. As a marketplace that brings together minivan owners and companies that want to send cargo abroad, we offer express transportation services. We ensure safe delivery of products from Turkey to Europe within 48-72 hours.”
