The new-generation gift platform Popile has announced that it has received an investment over 1.52 million dollars valuation. This platform, which started with the idea of “personalized celebration videos from celebrities”, has completed its seed funding round with the support of 9 investors. These ideas also seem to have received support from investors. At the end of 2020, Popile, the online gift platform that meets users and offers personalized congratulatory messages through musicians, football players and content creators, announced that it has received its first investment at a valuation of $ 1.52 million. According to information obtained from the company, the initiative, which has been progressing with its own resources since the idea came to mind, has completed a seed financing round with the support of 9 investors based abroad.

Popile Founding Partner Ertuğrul Uçar, who made a statement on the subject, said, "Our idea of 'personalized celebration videos from celebrities', which started as a dream one year ago, met with users on December 28, 2020, under the name Popile. In August alone, the number of users exceeded 1000. Both our collaborations with famous names and our team are growing rapidly in the background. Thank you to everyone who trusted us and shared our goals. We have started spreading the popile culture to the whole of Turkey.” 

Popile is opening abroad in 2022

Ertuğrul Uçar, who also talked about his future goals, said, “Today it is possible for, Mehmet Ali Erbil, Mahmut Tuncer, Serdar Ortaç, Alper Kul, Rüştü Reçber, Aydemir Akbaş, İlker Aksum, Bahar Şahin, Şafak Sezer, Serkan Akın, Ömür Gedik and many other well-known names to meet with the platforms’ users. We contribute to social responsibility awareness by donating a significant amount of the revenues to the NGOs which the order holders choose. Our primary goal is to continue to change lives, even if it is a small change, and share their happiness. On the other hand, we aim to introduce the PopiTime feature in a short period of time and provide the opportunity to meet with celebrities online collectively. We will start taking actions to expand abroad in 2022."
