While the interior spaces are given more importance with the pandemic, it is important that design products are original pieces that appeal to the soul as much as their functionality. As the new year approaches, Fy-shan Glass Studio introduced its new collection that will enrich the interiors.

ISTANBUL (TR) - The vaccine news coming as we approach the end of 2020 has given the world hope that the pandemic will end in 2021. Stating that although the pandemic is expected to lose its effect in the new year, some habits will continue for years and these will have a great impact on design products, Felekşan Onar, founder of Fy-shan Glass Studio said, “A large part of the world has been withdrawn to their homes due to the coronavirus pandemic. During this period, people who started to spend more time at home touch on the things they feel lacking in their new living spaces. The biggest expectation of consumers from original design products is to have a story, to adapt to the space and to be functional as well as to touch the soul.”

“Nature theme is at the forefront in the new collection”

Felekşan Onar, who conveyed the details of the collection prepared for the new year in line with the demands and needs reshaped by the pandemic effect, said, “The mini version of the favorite 4-point object is one of the new ones of this season. This mini design, which can be used both as a matchholder and as a candlestick, stands out like a jewel in its environment. Amber, pine green, deep navy blue, purple, oil and stone colors can be combined both together and with other objects. Another innovation of the season is Lillies of Pera, which is dedicated to immortalizing writing. This design, which brings the water lilies that come to life in the pond to our middle tables, took its place in the collection in amber, grass green, lilac and ice colors. Upcycled glasses are indispensable for winter tables as always. It is possible to use these designs that remind respect to both nature and labor, as tealights, by collecting the waste drink bottles in Soho House Istanbul and carefully turning them into glasses since the first day the place was opened.”
