Who is Kaan Murat Yanık?

Born in 1988, Kaan Murat Yanık graduated from Istanbul Kültür University, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. She studied Theater and Performing Arts at Yildiz Technical University as well as Pedagogy and completed her MA in Classical Turkish Literature at Fatih Sultan Mehmet University. She also studied Western Literature at the University of Sunderland in the UK.

She worked for TRT's Arabic channel for a period. Her stories, essays and articles were published in many literary magazines and newspapers. The author of the poetry book “Calcutta;; “Kite Season” and Şark Song of the Far Away ”.
