About the Author

Born in 1969 in Istanbul, Birsen Ekim Özen graduated from the Faculty of Communication at Marmara University in 1990. He began his career as a substitute teacher and continued as a permanent teacher since 1996. In 2001, Özen resigned from teaching and lived first in Germany and later in Russia because of her husband's job.
