Tam Faktoring, the only institution that has R & D center among the non-bank financial institutions, discussed customer data analytics for the first time in hackathon. It gave young people the opportunity to experience their theoretical knowledge practically in the field. Marmara University students were the winners of Tam Faktoring Analytical Hackathon, where 32 teams from 18 universities participated and the first three degrees were awarded.

Prof. Dr. Levent Güntay from MEF University Ozgur Ozluk, Ozyegin University Industrial Engineering Assoc. Dr. Erhun Kundakçıoğlu and Assoc. Dr. Erinc was Albey. While the first project at Tam Factoring Analytical Hackthon, where all participants were given the opportunity to do internships, won the prize money of 5.000 TL, the second project was awarded 3.000 TL and the third project was entitled to 1,000 TL.

Emre Gündoğmuş and Sevval Mutaflar from Marmara University won the. Detective Churn müş project, which will determine the customers who will not continue their factoring transactions and will offer special campaigns to prevent loss of customers. Enis Gümüştaş from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University became the second with the project focusing on customer segmentation, while the third was Yunus Şev with Buğra Şen and Galatasaray Technical University students.

Due to artificial intelligence, the rate of unrequited checks in loans decreased to 0.35%.

Data Analytical Division Manager Senem Erkal said that they evaluated Tam Faktoring as a Fintech company. We were also excited to see the efforts of the participants. As Tam Factoring, we are evaluating all customer demands through our software developed by our R & D center and by this software we have given KIOS, our free check rate is only 0.35%. I believe that the outputs of our competition, which our young friends are using in their viewpoints, will be very beneficial for Tam Factoring. In the coming years, by further enhancing the scope of this event, we aim to be the first company to come to mind when we say ’analytical hackathon.
