Last year, Sestek, who received approval from the Ministry of Industry and Technology as a Research & Development center for its Istanbul office, now registered with its Ankara office. Sestek has a total of 11 patents and 23 TUBITAK-supported projects in the field of voice technologies. A total of 79 people work in the 2 R & D centers of Sestek.

With the aim of developing R & D culture and carrying it forward, we successfully fulfilled all necessary requirements this year and our office in Ankara, Çankaya in February 2019 was registered as R & D center. Here we have 17 employees. With our experience and knowledge to date, we have implemented a project with a total of 23 TÜBİTAK projects. We have received 11 patents, including six of them in the United States.

Tuba Arslan stated that they aim to improve the human-machine interaction with artificial intelligence-based sound technologies and stated that R & D projects and patent applications will continue in this direction. He also emphasized that R & D staff have developed an incentive award system for them to take a more active role in this process and underlined the importance of active participation of employees in research and development.
