TURKEY — Technology, which has been influencing individuals and institutions in recent times, has now caught the attention of the furniture sector. Technological products easily integrated into modern furniture designs now make their presence felt in classic furniture, characterized by gold leaf, splendour, and handcraftsmanship. Recently, Asortie Mobilya, which exports its classic models produced in Turkey to 56 countries, is leading the change in its sector with technologically equipped designs. The brand integrates technology into its handcrafted classic furniture models.
Murat Erat, Chairman of the Board of Asortie Mobilya, evaluated the matter with the following words: "We design individuals' living spaces entirely custom-made according to different architectural concepts and usage habits. In doing so, just like modern furniture, we benefit from technological innovations in classic furniture models. We believe smart furniture will become even more widespread in the coming years. Therefore, we plan to integrate robotic systems into classic furniture. We will invest most in this field in the coming period.”
Asortie Mobilya's Chairman of the Board, Murat Erat, announced in a statement that they are accelerating their R&D efforts in this field, bringing to life various designs such as sofas shaped according to the person with a button next to the seat, cabinets that open with a remote control or voice command, cribs from which a television emerges, tables that rise and fall according to the person, and illuminated cabinets equipped with motion-sensing sensors.
