Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), who are the backbone of large companies, are the managers at the top of company management. The primary duty of CEOs who implement the correct strategies to achieve the goals they receive from the company's board of directors with the aim of ensuring profitability and growth. While planning the long-term profitability of the companies, CEOs, who benefit from their foresight and experience for political, financial and economic developments, meet under the umbrella of the NGO and exchange ideas.
TURKEY - According to the results of the survey conducted by the global consultancy company KPMG last month with the participation of 1,325 CEOs from 11 countries and 11 key industry sectors, 73% of global CEOs in 2023 will contribute to the economy in the next three years, compared to 71% in 2022. The survey results also showed that CEOs view geopolitical and political uncertainty as the biggest risk to their business growth. Haldun Pak, Chairman of the Board of All Senior Executives Association and Chairman of the CEO Platform, said, “As senior executives in Turkey, we produce solutions in unity and solidarity against the financial and political crises experienced worldwide. We aim to implement projects to support our country's economic growth.”
CEOs of companies surveyed with annual revenues above $500 million emphasize that they face short-term obstacles to achieving growth over the next 12 months. 77% of respondents believe that rising interest rates and tightening monetary policies could prolong a potential or current recession. Underlining that its members aim to provide social benefit in all economic conditions with their individual experience in senior management and by using all the opportunities of the age, Haldun Pak stated that they will produce many value-added projects under the social, socioeconomic and economic project titles and will do their part in the development process of Turkey.
Stating that they want to develop solution-oriented projects by addressing the important problems of the country under the umbrella of the All Senior Managers Association on issues that concern our country's economy and business world, CEO Platform Chairman Haldun Pak said, "We are the ones who work most effectively to realize Turkey's real potential and the big projects we will do in the new century. Defining the CEO Platform as an association of business people aiming for diversity, inclusion and efficiency, Haldun Pak, Chairman of the Board of All Senior Managers Association and Chairman of the CEO Platform, continued his speech about the association as follows:
