The 2023 summer season has ended. The international company, which provides global sea and land tourism services, announced its 2023 Report Card. Stating that more than 350,000 guests are hosted from more than 40 countries this year, the hotel chain announced that is has already started preparing for 2024.
TURKEY - With the end of summer, the holiday season is also behind us. The hotel chain recently opened its 13th facility in Istanbul Ataşehir and announced its 2023 report card. Selectum Hotels & Resort Executive Board Member Tayfun Turanlıoğlu said, “We had a season this year where we tried to reduce the effects of the pandemic. We offered our guests a pleasant and peaceful holiday experience by keeping our health and safety measures at the highest level. In Turkey, we have hosted over 350,000 guests from more than 40 countries at our hotels in Side, Belek, Kemer, Bodrum, and Istanbul, and abroad in Cuba, Vietnam and the Dominican Republic. This year, the markets showing the most growth were Germany and Poland. The United Kingdom, Romania, Turkey, and Russia remained as our main markets.”
Tayfun Turanlıoğlu said, “We are also assertive in the field of meetings and organizations. We stand out, especially with our services for sports groups. Many teams from football and sports branches preferred our hotels. We also hosted various events in fields such as culture, art and education.”
He also added, “We recently opened our latest facility, Selectum City Ataşehir. With this hotel, we offer an accommodation alternative in the business and financial centre of Istanbul. We will continue new investments in 2024. We will both expand to new destinations and further improve our existing facilities through renovation. Thus, we aim to open new employment areas while contributing to tourism.”
