Finally, Anatolia, headquartered in Canada, started its production activities at its facility in Izmir, where it invested 250 million dollars. With the facility, the brand will produce porcelain plates in the size of 1.6 x 3.2 meters for the first time in Turkey. It will also benefit from many sustainable practices in an integrated way.

According to the World Production and Consumption of Ceramic Tiles Report, the production of ceramic tile materials is expected to increase by 4.5% every year until 2025, reaching 461 million square meters in our country, which is in the top 10 worldwide. Finally, Anatolia, one of the most prominent players in the sector with its headquarters in Canada, started its activities in its production facility in Izmir, where it invested 250 million dollars. In the facility, where many sustainable and ecological applications are implemented in an integrated manner, the brand will produce porcelain plates in the size of 1.6 x 3.2 meters for the first time in Turkey.

Anatolia General Manager Şemun Alp Biber said, “With our brand, which we always take as a mission to add innovation to our sector with our innovation efforts, we continue to open up to new markets with our own designs by increasing our production capacity with sustainable practices. In this direction, we are one step closer to our goal with our production and logistics base that started operating in Izmir.”

Together with the facility, it will implement sustainable practices in an integrated manner.

According to the information obtained from Şemun Alp Biber, Anatolia has integrated the most advanced examples of the industry with its state-of-the-art furnace and production lines, fully automated raw material mixing plant, driverless automatic transport vehicles, recyclable waste system, rooftop solar energy system and Industry 4.0 applications. will pass. It will soon commission the solar energy system, which will be one of the largest applications on a single roof in the world, in a facility of 200 thousand square meters. In this way, it will obtain 21.5 megawatts of energy.

Anatolia commissioned its first line, one of the longest furnaces in the world, with a length of 283 meters in the facility, which was designed as a total of 9 lines. The brand plans to commission the 2nd and 3rd lines, which it has just started to install, at the end of this year. Thus, it will reach a total annual production capacity of 10 million square meters in 3 lines and produce large-sized porcelain plates with different color and surface alternatives. Anatolia, which will employ 200 people at the first stage for its facility, aims to increase its total investment to 400 million dollars in 5 years and to increase the number of employees to over 500
