TURKEY - With the introduction of artificial intelligence into our lives, we started to hear about new professions. Prompt engineering, which is derived from the English word prompter, is becoming more and more popular every day. Prompt engineering, in which associate and undergraduate programs began to be opened abroad, started to be given as a certificate program in our country.

Mesut Karaağaç, CEO of Novarge Distance Education Center, which trains prompt engineers: “We can define a prompt engineer as the person who enables us to find the book we are looking for in the easiest and fastest way in a library with hundreds of floors and millions of books. Prompt engineering is simply knowing how to talk with artificial intelligence, and we can say that it is managing artificial intelligence. We believe that prompt engineering will provide our students with the opportunity to understand the impact of technology and artificial intelligence in our lives more deeply and to develop their skills in these areas; our education is open to the participation of all individuals over the age of 12 attracts great attention.”

Karaağaç continued his statement as follows: “Just as we act very professionally when using Google today, and our fathers never reach what they want when they type something into Google, communication with machines is of vital importance. Just like in many jobs, we receive service; when we entrust a job to artificial intelligence, we must use the right words correctly and by giving good examples. Otherwise, once you get a wrong printout, it becomes more and more difficult to correct it. Correcting "I actually meant" complicates advanced projects, and artificial intelligence becomes a bug spiral. It may be too late to start over. Large-scale companies that want to increase business efficiency abroad started to employ prompt engineers for 250-300 thousand dollars annually.” used the phrases.
