TİM's study, which lists Turkey's top 1,000 exporting companies according to their export volumes, has been published. The manufacturer of sandwich panels and EPS products, exporting to 102 countries on 5 continents, was the only company representing its sector in the list.

The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) has published the 2022 edition of Turkey's Top 1,000 Exporters list, which it has prepared to reward and motivate exporters. In the report, in which 1,000 companies that wave the Turkish flag all over the world with their products and services are listed according to their export sizes, Teknopanel, a manufacturer of sandwich panels and EPS products that exports to 102 countries in 5 continents, was the only company in its sector to be included in the list.

Exports to 102 countries in 5 continents

Operating since 2005 and exporting to 102 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, the company took its place as 76th in the steel category and 842nd in the general ranking in the list of Turkey's largest exporters. Pointing out that they increase their export figures every year, Orhan Kahveci said, “Since the day we were founded, we have been working to provide world-class service to our customers with our ideas that go beyond four walls. Opens its fifth factory in North Macedonia

Emphasizing that they have an annual production capacity of 13.5 million square meters of sandwich panels and a total annual EPS production capacity of 1.6 million cubic meters, Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci said, “As the industry company with the first and only R&D center in the sector, we are one of the ISO Top 500 Companies of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. We have been positioned as the industry leader in the Industrial Organization ranking for 8 consecutive years. We produce sandwich panel EPS and other products, which we produce with the labor of more than 500 employees, in our facilities in Mersin, Sakarya, Izmir and Istanbul, which are located on a total area of 123 thousand square meters, which are among the most modern facilities in Europe, 150 authorized service points in the country, 150 authorized service points abroad. We bring it together with customers through more than 120 business partners.”

Emphasizing that the number of production facilities will increase to five in 2023, Orhan Kahveci said, “We will open our new factory in North Macedonia, and with this facility, we will add 3 million square meters for sandwich panels and 350 thousand cubic meters for EPS products to our production capacity. Our North Macedonia factory will raise the awareness of the Teknopanel brand in the European market to the next level.”

Teknopanel did not remain silent about the need for container cities in the earthquake zone; It participates with all its might in the project carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Commerce and AFAD. It mobilizes 65% of its production lines to respond to the demand for 2.8 million square meters of insulated sandwich roof and facade panels needed for the first phase of container city construction in the region.
