Popile, the interactive platform where users can receive personalized videos from celebrities, has closed its latest funding round at a valuation of $4 million.

TURKEY - With the angel investment round that included names like Yarkın Sakuçoğlu, Siret Ünsal, and Kıvanç Ünal, Popile has reached a valuation of $4 million and is now focused on expanding its market presence. Popile aims to eliminate all factors that make reaching and working with celebrities a long, effortful, and expensive process and progress towards a transparent and democratic system where celebrities earn all their income directly.

Launched in the first quarter of 2021 by Kemal Tepret, Ertuğrul Uçar, Mete Acar, İsmet Berkay Çelik, and Oğulcan Tümdoğan, Popile has gained significant momentum in just two years and created its own market. With over 500 names, including Fenerbahçe football players, famous actors and artists, Twitch streamers, and influencers, Popile has made it easy and standardized to reach out to celebrities.

After establishing this standardization in individual sales, Popile opened up corporate sales in the first quarter of 2023. Brands and companies can now directly obtain advertising and promotional videos from celebrities using only the application on the celebrity's phone, without any intermediaries. Popile has made this process practical, fast, and independent of being large or small for companies.

Following individual and corporate video sales, along with the new funding round, Popile is preparing to enter the event market as its next target. With rapid and aggressive growth over the past two years, Popile aims to multiply its portfolio of celebrities by the end of the year. After the new funding round, the goal is to leverage the popularity of Turkish celebrities and expand into the Middle Eastern market, including local celebrities on the platform, making it the largest celebrity interaction platform in the Middle East and the most accessible and reasonable way to reach celebrities.
