ISTANBUL (TR) - While the ceramic industry continues to grow internationally, the events held in our country cross borders and bring local and global brands together in Istanbul. UNICERA, the world's second largest expertise fair in its field, hosts the leading brands of the industry on November 7-11. Many products in areas such as floor-wall coatings, ceramic processing technologies, kitchen and decoration, packaging and storage are showcased for the first time at CNR Expo, at the ceramic, bathroom and kitchen fair, which welcomes approximately 130,000 visitors from 130 countries every year. As one of the most important domestic players in its industry, Seramiksan is preparing to introduce its newest products for 2023 at UNICERA Istanbul for the first time. Designing its booth and fair activities with the theme of sustainability and recycling, Seramiksan will exhibit at the fair not only ceramic sanitaryware that strengthen the perception of design in bathrooms, but also large-sized porcelain tiles with bright marble and stone look, which are indispensable for decoration.

Saying that they created a special collection for the fair from the newest tile and sanitaryware series they designed for all living spaces, Seramiksan Director Süreyya Çağlar said, “We are counting down the days to join UNICERA, which opens the door to new partnerships between companies and buyers from both our country and the world. We will exhibit our newest collections, which we have produced with environmentally friendly methods, with the knowledge and experience we have gained since 1994. In this way, we will present the quality products and trends of Turkish ceramics to professionals.”

Fair concepts recycling and sustainability

Seramiksan Director Süreyya Çağlar, who stated that they shaped the fair themes on recycling and sustainability, said, “As part of the concept we have determined for the fair, we will organize a 'Good Transformation Workshop for a Good Life' on November 8-9. We will transform ceramics into different objects with Kintsugi, a Japanese repair art dating back to the 15th century, arising from the combination of broken ceramic pieces with gold in Seramiksan's recycling facility. In the "Good Recycling Workshop for Good Life", where we will host famous architects, we will draw attention to recycling and sustainability by prolonging the life of broken ceramics with this practice. In addition, the large frame in the photographic area, which we created from broken ceramics to emphasize recycling, was created with the handiwork of dozens of people. With these activities, we aim to start a good transformation movement by going beyond introducing our newest collections designed for all living spaces such as bathrooms and kitchens at the fair.”

Large tiles attract attention

As announced by Seramiksan, which will exhibit most of the collections it has prepared for 2023 at the fair for the first time, the large-size tiles that bring the shiny marble and stone texture to the surfaces, which have turned into a global design trend, draw attention. Inspired by the historical richness and nature of different geographies, the tiles reflect the color charts of marble and stone texture. While the series bearing names such as Amos, Bahama and Rosella appeal to the different lifestyles of the users with their colors, textures and patterns, they also create design integrity in spaces by combining with Seramiksan's sanitary ware products.

Seramiksan WC pans save water

Among the products to be exhibited for the first time in Seramiksan's sanitaryware group is the Classic style shelf washbasin, while two new forms of bowl washbasins are added to the Aura Collection. The washbasins, which are produced both with and without tap hole, open a comfortable and functional space for the user with their large bowl. Rim-out wall-hung WC pans, which provide approximately 30% water savings by functioning with 2.5 - 4.5 liters, increase hygiene and comfort in bathrooms. Rim-out wall-hung bidet and toilet bowls, which are newly added to the Hill Smart Urinal series that offer much more than a urinal, offer a holistic bathroom concept by complementing each other.
