According to the Ministry of Commerce data, the ratio of e-commerce to general trade, which was 11.7% in January 2020, increased to 20.4% as of December 2021. In 2021, the number of companies operating in the sector exceeding 380 billion TL, with an increase of approximately 70% compared to the previous year, reached 485 thousand.
