The chemical industry, which turned the pandemic into an opportunity with its export attack, set its sights on increasing its share in Germany, the biggest export market of Turkey. ISTANBUL (TR) - Ranking 2nd among Turkey's exporting sectors, chemistry continues to increase its cross-border performance. According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the sector reached an export volume of 2 billion 46 million dollars with an increase of more than 49% compared to the same period of the previous year. The sector's exports to Germany, which ranks first among the countries to which Turkey exports the most, also drew attention. Companies that can complete this transformation will gain a great power in exports. Companies must ensure the safe use of chemicals

Pointing out that the KKDIK Regulation aims to protect human health and the environment at the highest level from the negative effects of chemicals, Altun said, “The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization will manage the registration, evaluation, permit and restriction processes of chemical substances in accordance with the provisions of the KKDIK Regulation. According to the regulation, companies with manufacturer and exporter identity have to ensure the safe use of chemicals. They will be able to elect representatives to fulfill these obligations. We will represent companies with the strategic cooperation we have established with DEKRA GmBH”.
