Working to provide equal opportunities in education, sports and arts for children and young people, 'Hayalime Ortak Ol Association’ had its first graduates.

İSTANBUL (TR) - Stating that every young person and every child in Turkey has dreams, as in the rest of the world, and that the material and spiritual negativities they are in are driving them away from their dreams, Pınar Yılmaz, the General Secretary of the Hayalime Ortak Ol Association said, “We believe in the dreams of our children and youth, and since 2018 we have been working with the association. We do not leave them alone on the path they walk. Our aim is to recruit children and young people who cannot receive adequate support for various reasons, to provide material and moral support for them to participate in sports and arts branches that they are talented in, cultural and educational activities they are related to. In addition to the young people we support regularly, we continue our work both in Izmir and other cities with the social responsibility projects we carry out.”

Atakan Atalar, the founding president of the association, said in a statement about the activities, “We ensure that our students receive regular scholarship support throughout their education life. We organize seminars on a different subject every month by bringing together experts in the field and our students with social development programs. Through our psychological counselor, we provide academic, social and career guidance to our students and provide psychological support when needed. We enable young people to establish a social network within themselves and offer job and internship opportunities through our volunteers. On the other hand, we meet the needs of urban and rural schools with our social responsibility projects. As an association, we also have a dream: We want to raise young people who will benefit the society, create added value for our country and change the world, first nationally and then globally. With this belief, we said, “Share my dream, change the world”. Our goal is to become a family of 250 people in 2025 with our graduates and students.”

Regular scholarship support is provided to 27 students

Stating that they set out in 2018 by providing regular scholarships to 12 students, Şeniz Öztorun, Student Relations Officer of the Hayalime Ortak Ol Association, said, “When we come to 2021, the number of students we regularly support has reached 27. We are happy to witness the graduation of 3 of these students. Due to the pandemic, schools cannot make a graduation ceremony, however. "We held a graduation ceremony in our association office and did not leave our students alone. It is also a pleasure for us that our first graduates are young women. Each of them enters a new phase of life, the business world."  They know that we will be behind them so that they can take their steps firmly and stand upright in the face of difficulties they will encounter in this new period, and continued, "The happiness brought by this situation is our biggest source of motivation."

It has been announced that the new term scholarship applications of the Hayalime Ortak Ol Association will continue until August 1st.
