ISTANBUL (TR) - While the coronavirus pandemic has led to negative scenes in many sectors, some sectors continue to grow in this process without being harmed. E-commerce sector is at the top of these sectors. According to the e-commerce data released by the Ministry of Commerce for the first time in the first 5 months of the year, e-commerce volume increased by 48 percent compared to last year. With this growth expected to reach 60% by the end of the year, e-commerce infrastructure providers have also taken action.

Stating that it is possible for everyone to manage e-commerce correctly by automating many processes, Anatolia System Digital Founder and Digital Strategy Expert Emrah Yedekci said, “Whatever the level of digital literacy, everyone is now taking their place in e-commerce and we are growing rapidly. But what will save the future of e-commerce is to be data-driven and e-export.”

Managing digital processes is a major obstacle for e-commerce sites

Stating that there are a total of 68 thousand 457 businesses in Turkey that continue e-commerce activity and this number may exceed 100 thousand as of 2021, Anatolia System Digital Founder and Digital Strategist Emrah Yedekci stressed that not only the number but also the quality should increase. Yedekci said, “The e-commerce sector has gone on its way unscathed compared to other sectors, with the enormous change in all market places in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. E-commerce is expected to achieve even greater results when the effects of the pandemic diminish, as evidence of its reliability and robustness remains to be seen at this point. Currently, the main goal of e-commerce businesses is to generate traffic organically on their websites/portals and gain more consumers. But if these digital processes are not data-driven and are not managed correctly, they can be a major obstacle for e-commerce websites.”

“We offer a new world to local investors”

Stating that they aim to open digital stores to businesses that do not have sufficient level of digital competence, Emrah Yedekci said, “We offer package solutions for digital infrastructures that want to step into e-commerce with Zükkan (Zeki Dükkan) e-commerce systems that have been operating within our company for 12 years or want to rise in the digital world. Thus, the digital world also offers new possibilities to local investors. When we look at e-commerce giants, we see that they process data and apply the analytical results to get a better view of the market and customer behavior. At this point, we as Zükkan e-commerce, developed e-commerce packages, just like e-commerce giants by automated analysis of the data to obtain and thus provide targeted advertising. We make it easier for companies to stand out in search engines with search engine optimization and we help them to increase their awareness with the big market places in Turkey where we work as an integrated. In addition, we cover 75% of the costs of E-commerce infrastructure for women who want to start new initiatives. Our main goal is to increase the volume gained by our country in a qualified way and to bring companies that do not have digital competence to the world of e-commerce.”
